The Best Children’s Summer Camps
The six weeks’ holiday may just be about to start but you may well already be thinking about that day in September when your kids go back to school. With the cost of childcare skyrocketing this summer many parents will be at a loss as to what to do with their young ones. In the US it is traditional for kids to spend the entire summer at camp. This isn’t something most UK parents will think about but there are actually some great summer camps where you could send your child for part of the summer break.
Summer camps are a fantastic option for all ages from three right up to 17. Camps can be broken down into a few different categories. The way children visit - day camps, sleepaway and family camps. Then they can be broken down into activities - some offer fun sports and games, others are more academic in their focus and there are even a few which will prepare your kids for university.
